SNOWIE: 10 months ish Blue Merle with alot of white. Such a sad story. Snowie is the obvious result of a 'merle to merle' coloured dog breeding (which should never be done).  This results in severe genetic problems, thus Snowie was deaf & blind. And yet with all his problems he was found straying in the street; this dog without a chance had been abandoned - this was beyond our belief. We offered a home when his 7 days were up in the pound. We needed a very special home for Snowie and lucky for him and us we found it.  Rehomed 01/2010 with Monica (H). More photos here (click on slideshow if you wish)

MEGGIE:  2/3 year old Chocolate & White bitch.  Rehomed 01/2010 to a pet home with Mrs Lorraine (G).

DAISY 'Daisy Dainty Feet of Valgrays': 7 month old mainly white Jack Russell bitch. Original owner said she was not that good with kids and was hyper active. Rehomed 01/2010 with Frankie (W) to an agility home.  More photos here

ZAC:  Adult male Samoyed.  Was in the pound, they checked and he had a chip.  Original owners no longer wanted him and so Val saved him from the pound.  Rehomed 01/2010 with Norill & CLive (H).  More photos here

SASHA:  2 year old Tri Colour bitch.  Shirley took a call from original owner, she was outside the vets taking Sasha to be put down as she had nipped her own child during a kids party. Shirley asked for her phone number to call her back and was told 'oh don't bother'.  This left Shirley in tears. By a miracle the vet didnt put her down and contacted the dog warden who contacted us. So Sasha was saved.  Rehomed 01/2010 to Gwen (B) to an agility home.  More photos here
